Bellingham OB/GYN is the longest standing obstetrical practice in Whatcom County. We are proud to be the 3rd generation of owners of this business. We are board certified OB/GYN’s, which means that we have completed a 4 year residency in obstetrics and gynecology followed by a very extensive credentialing period with the American Board of OB/GYN and the American College of OB/GYN. We perform advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including hysterectomy, surgical treatment of pelvic disease, hysteroscopic evaluation of the uterus and endometrial ablations. Routine gynecologic procedures include the placement of IUDs, colposcopy of the cervix and LEEP resections of pre-cancers of the cervix. We specialize in referrals for consultation regarding gynecologic problems.
We also have a special interest in low and high-risk obstetrics. We provide obstetrical ultrasound in our office with a board certified ultrasonographer, using the most advanced Phillips ultrasound machine. At the 20-week anatomy ultrasound we provide a CD of pictures that can be shared with family members and also become part of your memory book. Non-stress testing and other fetal assessments are done within our office. A cetified nurse midwife helps round out our team care.
Unfortunately because of the current shortage of Obstetricians in Whatcom County, we are only able to provide limited routine annual exams. We are working hard to increase the number of physicians and practitioners in our business in hopes of returning to annual gynecologic care.
